Our Products

Description

JX Filtration offers a full range of sludge dewatering machines from compact screw presses handling 5 kg/h to large industrial models processing 800 kg/h or more, with flexible customization options to suit various sludge concentrations and treatment needs across municipal, industrial, and agricultural applications—continuous, automated, and built for demanding conditions.

Sludge dewatering machines are mechanical solid-liquid separation devices that reduce the moisture content of sludge generated during wastewater treatment, significantly decreasing sludge volume and facilitating subsequent transportation, disposal, or resource recovery. Our portfolio includes screw press dewatering machines and belt filter presses, each suited to different sludge characteristics and operational preferences.

Sludge Dewatering Press

Working Principle

Screw Press Dewatering Machine: Sludge is transported to the dewatering section after gravity thickening. As the screw shaft rotates, the moving and fixed rings arranged around the shaft move relative to each other. The pitch of the screw shaft gradually decreases toward the cake outlet, and the gap between the rings narrows, creating increasing internal pressure that squeezes water out through the filter slots.

The relative movement between the dynamic and static rings generates a continuous self-cleaning effect, preventing clogging—a common issue in traditional dewatering equipment.

Sludge Dewatering Press Structure

Advantages

  • Continuous fully automatic operation – uninterrupted feeding, dewatering, and discharge 24/7, greatly reducing manual intervention
  • Low energy consumption – Main motor power as low as 1.5 kW, far less than centrifuges or belt filter presses of comparable capacity
  • Self-cleaning anti-clogging design – Relative movement between dynamic and static rings continuously cleans filter slots, eliminating high-pressure flushing water
  • Corrosion-resistant construction – Main components available in stainless steel 304 and 316L for handling complex industrial sludge
  • Low maintenance – Low-speed operation with no filter cloth to replace; only periodic lubrication and bolt checks required
  • Flexible capacity range – Models from 5 kg/h to 800 kg/h (DS) to meet diverse treatment scale requirements
  • Compact integrated design – All-in-one configuration combines control cabinet, flocculation tank, dewatering body, and collection tank
  • Customizable components – Screw shafts, rings, and construction materials tailored to specific sludge properties
