A vibrating sieve separator, also known as a vibratory separator, circular vibrating screen, or trommel screen, is a mechanical screening device that uses a motor-driven vibratory motion to separate solid particles by size or remove solids from liquids. The circular vibrating screen operates with a vertical vibration motor equipped with eccentric weights at both the upper and lower ends, generating a three-dimensional motion—horizontal, vertical, and tilted—that is transferred to the screen surface. By adjusting the phase angle of the eccentric weights, the material's movement trajectory can be fine-tuned to optimize separation performance for different liquid viscosities and solid loads.

Working Principle

Vibratory Separator (Circular Vibrating Screen): A vertical vibrating motor serves as the vibration source. Two eccentric blocks are fixed on the motor shaft, producing horizontal, vertical, and inclined three-dimensional motion. By adjusting the phase angle between the two eccentric blocks, different centrifugal forces are generated, changing the material's moving trail and achieving the screening purpose. Undersize liquid and fine particles pass through the mesh, while oversized solids are conveyed to the periphery for discharge.
